Price difference between Hilton app & web browser

In the past have see a few £/$’s difference on like for like between app and web browser but looking at some US hotels at the moment difference is up to $40. Anyone else experienced this?

It is a relatively known issue. For me, the app is cheaper. Everytime I book, I check the prices on the app and the desktop.

Also check you are comparing like with like. Is the Web showing including taxes and the App without?

I’ve noticed app prices shown without taxes previously – the price then jumps up when you click through!
I prefer to search on desktop in £ then you know you’re getting the real price from the start.

Let me take this opportunity to enquire if it is possible to see prices in GBP on the HH app?
I can’t seem to find how to do so.

Have you factored in Tax which the app doesnt show upfront at first.

I’ve never found a way of changing currency in the app. But unless I’m booking somewhere I’ve stayed before I prefer to get a better look at the place on a computer anyway! Also too easy to press the wrong button on a phone and book a rate you don’t want!
