Prague visit

Taking the family to Prague for a 3-day trip on Saturday (subject to BA operating the flight) and haven’t been for 18 years.
Would appreicate any restaurant recommendations and any other activities suitable for 2 teenage girls. We will do the main sightseeing areas but would love to know of any great activities.

Food wise, I would recommend the Ambiente group of restaurants – they go from Michelin-starred to everyday canteens (and everything in between) and it’s generally appropriately priced, good quality and good service: https://www.ambi.cz/en/our-concepts/

I’ve tried to reply to this thread with some links but the post keeps failing, hoping just listing the names and no links will work!

Places to eat:
Lokal by Ambiente. Abmbiete’s all you eat Brazilian is also fun.
Konvikt in the old town for informal lunch.
My top pick would be Břevnovský Klášter which is set on the grounds of an old abbey – amazing bohemian feasts.

Sightseeing – off the beaten track is Divoka Sarka if you want a nice walk in ‘the nature’.

Wonderful city; I lived there for several years and will be back myself in a few weeks.

Lokal (from Ambiente) would be one to look at. You can’t go wrong with their all you can eat Brazilian place as well. If you want a very Czech experience in a superb setting, then head to Břevnovský Klášter (https://www.klasternisenk.cz/en/). It’s set on the grounds of an abbey, and the bohemian feasts are fantastic. In the old town, Konvikt (http://www.konviktpub.cz/menu.html) is great.

Other than the usual places, sightseeing wise, if you want a nice walk in ‘the nature’ as they say in Prague, then check out Divoka Sarka (https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g274707-d2028581-Reviews-Divoka_Sarka-Prague_Bohemia.html) which is just a short tram ride from the centre.
