Seems like whoever runs BA IT has been moonlighting at Virgin! Called up this morning to retrospectively take advantage of their ‘Points Booster’ promotion. 47 mins on hold and I get through to a lovely lady who informed me her points booster system wasn’t working on Friday but she’ll try again. No joy. She then tried to put me through to colleagues in case theirs worked (another 15 mins on hold). Computer said no. After this she returned, apologised and said she will get on to IT and ring me back in half an hour. I had no hope of this actually happening. However, she actually just rang back, apologised again and said IT are making it a priority and she will call me as soon as it’s done whether that is today or another day. So crap IT but great customer service. Why run a promotion if your IT is not set up to action it? Embarrassing.
Not booster but points related. Points from VA Reward+ CC not reflected in Flying Club account for Feb & Mar. There is a note when logged in saying they are having issues. Pretty unsatisfactory.
