Killing some time in the Plaza Premium lounge in T2 this morning. Breakfast is great, lovely sausage, however have just been told that premium drinks are chargeable. Couldn’t have a Beefeater instead of a Gordon’s. Anyone know if this is a new thing? Don’t remember having this issue in T5 or HKG.

Been like that for donkeys. No champagne either.
Maybe it’s been too long. £4.50 for a glass of prosecco. Feel like I may have been better on the LH lounge.
There’s no way to reserve with AmexPlat, right?
When did paying or Prosecco start?
It was free in Gatwick when we last went through the Plaza about 3 weeks ago.
Not able to get into Gatwick Plaza Premium due to capacity with Amex Plat. Week before Christmas so the airport is busier than normal but still frustrating as I thought that had added a lot of extra capacity.
