Hello,
I have a quick question regarding the Amex Plat Travel insurance. For some bizarre reason Singapore Airlines don’t accept AMEX… Despite it being an MR partner… Presumably this would mean that our platinum insurance wont cover these flights, as we have paid using a MasterCard.

It is odd that SQ wouldn’t take Amex though, I booked a flight with them just two months ago and could pay by Amex!
SQ even sell their own Amex credit card. Are you sure you paid on SQ website?
Where Amex is not accepted, the card does cover you spending in another way, but from experience of a previous claim, they do check this before paying out. As those earlier have said, it seems unusual for Singapore not to accept Amex.
