I just received my Platinum Card – is this card enough to get into the various Priority Pass lounges or do I need to enrol or get a separate Priority Pass card?
You will receive a PP card separately shortly, and a wasteful booklet that could easily be a PDF on a website.
I seldom carry my PP card and can’t ever remember showing it.
I have shown my Platinum card on several occasions recently to gain lounge access in Africa and the Americas. Not in Europe though.
If you download the PP app, you should be able to access a digital copy. I seem to recall showing the app once to gain entry somewhere but can’t remember where!

Very useful page on Amex’s site.
You can search lounges and when clicking through to the lounge details, under “access and guests” you can see what each lounge needs. Some just flashing the platinum card will suffice, others you will need the priority pass.
You can either check that site before travelling or just carry both in case.
@SteveJ provides the link with the definitive answers but in general:
Centurion Lounges, Lufthansa Lounges, Plaza Premium Lounges and Eurostar Lounges require your Amex Platinum card.
Lounges part of the Priority Pass network, require your Priority Pass card (physical or digital via the app).
