So, I messed up and stupidly forgot to book my flights with an Amex card. From my reading of the policy, the medical insurance benefits are still available regardless of this, even though the rest aren’t. Is that correct? Just assessing what I’ll need to buy separately.
Also, the rental car cover should be good as long as I pay for the car with it, right?
In regards to the medical insurance, that is correct. As long as you meet the criteria (e.g. not over 70yrs old and don’t have any pre-existing medical conditions not on their list), you will be covered no matter what card you pay on.
Thanks Justin. I have a bit of an unexpected problem now, as I can’t find anyone that sells cancellation etc coverage but without medical bundled with it. Any suggestions?
