How does one book a redemption on a partner airline using Virgin points.
Assuming it can only be done on the phone where is the best place to find availability and price up flights to find what you want before calling.
THANKS!
It varies by partner, unfortunately. Some are online, some need a call. Some let you book their ‘standard’ redemption availabilty, some carve out a smaller pot for Virgin Atlantic members.
If its not Delta, Air France or KLM you need to ring.
Except for Singapore, it is generally OK to assume that if any other airline partner which allows online redemptions can see the seat, you can get it. It’s a bit riskier checking on the airlines own site because they may be more generous to their own members, eg I trust the ANA availbility that United sees more than I’d trust what ANA shows to its own members on its own website.
Can you upgrade a cash Delta flight (in terminal or prior) using Virgin points? Would the booking need to be on a code share VS booking?

99% sure no. https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/flying-club/airline-partners/delta-air-lines.html Unfortunatly the link to the full Ts&Cs in the small print section wont load.
If the Air France website is showing award availability for the dates I want should those flights be bookable via Virgin website on points?
Booked an ATL-MLB reward flight on virginatlantaic.com with FC points yesterday no problem
