Out of LHR. Options?

Due for a long weekend in Iceland with BA out of LHR today back Monday.
Hardly a disaster apart from non-refundable most expensive hotel my OH could find.

Any ideas as to my options (can’t get through to BA)?

There’s an easyJet from LTN at 14:05 today if your card needs some spend.

Travel insurance? Also contact the hotel and let them know of your circumstances – they might be sympathetic.

Book the easyjet. DO NOT CANCEL THE BA FLIGHT. Try to ask them via chat at some point to reprotect your inbound (though most likely they’ll stop the auto cancel process for the coming days). Send them the easyjet receipt as your rerouting costs per UK261 as you did try to contact them for a reroute. Enjoy the trip!

Was in the Blue Lagoon a couple of days ago!!!
