Looking at the possibility of using an FTV, (cancelled St Lucia flight a year ago, which was booked with a 2 for 1 voucher). It holds 125,000 Avios and about £1000.
Was thinking J class LGW-TPA, Jet Blue flight to LGA, 2 nights in New York, fly home from JFK. Obviously I need to book the open-jaw through the call centre. Both flights show availability.
My issue is that I can’t see the taxes, etc, for the whole trip, only individual sectors. It prices the JFK -LHR sector alone at about £1000. Will this change when the two sectors are priced together, or will they charge both sectors individually, possible costing £1500-£1800 which is not worth it?
Thanks
Price it up as a multi city cash trip and it will be a good indication of the cash element.
