Has anyone not received the Avios posting for October? Was expecting the points to post today.

Nope- and I’m waiting for my 50,000 points to post before I cancel/downgrade!
Based on this limited sample, sounds like it might be a systemic issue, I’m waiting for the 50k SUB too, however having 2nd thoughts about downgrading to go for the 100k for upgrading to a Premier Account.
My Avios are still sitting with BC. Just spoken with BC who wasn’t aware of an issue, no alerts had been issued the BC team. The agent then tried to contact Avios, long long wait. After 20 mins of the agent trying to contact Avios, we decided to call it a day and the BC agent would raise as an issue and revert once an update had been received.
+1. Waiting on 54K Avios that should have gone in at the beginning of the month. Really wish Barclaycard would pull their finger out… :/
And another +1. Should be getting the welcome bonus 50k too. Already had an email last week saying ‘the Avios are in your account’.
Not that I can see anything Avios related in the app, but that’s another story.

Yup same here. Haven’t had any points through since early September. Good to see their IT problems are behind them.
I called up Barclays yesterday about the missing points. After getting bounced around from team to team I finally got through to someone in the U.K.
He had no idea what the issue was, he tried contacting the Avios team but they couldn’t help as they only deal with the Avios current account.
I logged a complaint as I was pissed off having spent 3 hours on the phone and tbh they’ve breached their terms and conditions. Had this of been the other way they wouldn’t have shown me any mercy.
I was phoned backed about an hour later and informed that there is a known issue on sending the Barclaycard Avios points. This applies to both the sign up bonus and the monthly spend points. The issue has been know since last month but there is no timeline for resolution.
I have left my complaint open and asked them to escalate. The reason I applied for this card was for the sign up bonus. I will push for compensation ideally as more avios points.
I would encourage all to log a complaint with Barclays over the phone as quite frankly this is unacceptable. Should I have not paid my bill on time they would charge me interest etc. Surly it should go the other way if they do not pay your points as set out in their terms and conditions
Wow – a known issue with no resolution date. Just when you think they’ve sorted out all the kinks…
Thanks for sharing the info. I’m holding off downgrading/cancelling until these posts so ideally it would be before I’m charged another monthly fee.

Yes, seems to be something of an overkill for the OP to spend three hours on the telephone to chase the points that will inevitably turn up shortly; not exactly putting much value on their time.

And the award for most useful contribution goes to…. I’d question the value you put on your time for having to respond on the basis you did.
This sounds like a systemic issue, however the OP was not aware of that before calling and may have thought it was an account specific issue which may not automatically resolve itself.
I too thank you OP not just for calling but also sharing.
Yeah I didn’t now this was a systemic issue and tbh I just made my headforpoints account today to share my experience.
@JDB my issue isn’t that the points won’t turn up but they haven’t done so in time with no date available when they will. I planned my spending around getting the points yesterday so I could book an avios flight this week. I just hope it doesn’t sell out. More so if I didn’t pay my Barclays bill and could give them a date when I would they would penalise me, this should go two ways.Quite surprised this hasn’t been mentioned on the front page yet, as they are now 48hrs late with no official word from Barclaycard.
I think I just got my miles for this month.

Bit rich coming from someone who spends time day after day posting on here and getting nothing for it. The OP was chasing something that he had no idea whether it was an issue for some accounts, all accounts or his account, possibly requiring manual intervention, in order to get something of value, i.e. missing points.
