Forums Other Destination advice NYC transfers – JFK to Manhattan (Financial District)

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good transfers company? I would usually just use the metro but our flight wont get in until after 9pm so don’t really want to risk it late on a Saturday night.

I have found https://nyviptransfer.com/ (Star Ride Limo) which seems ok, does anyone have experience with them?

    Thanks

Can’t you just join the line for a yellow cab? It’s a flat fare to Manhatten plus tolls.

+1 for a cab. We had zero wait last time when arriving late

unless you have excessive luggage or demand luxury, i’d use a yellow cab or uber/lyft.

It may have been skewed by demand and lack of drivers over the Easter weekend but I faced a fair few challenges trying to use Uber & Lyft in NYC last month.

If you book the high end cars it seemed fine although you’re paying way over the odds. It was $120 from The Conrad to JFK for us. Trying to book the regular vehicles was far from seamless and not like how I remember the ride share services used to work.

My wife also found a long line of folk waiting for yellow taxis at LGA the following weekend.

We booked a car transfer via Viator last time we went to NYC, it was about £50 to the Hilton UN. It was a good service, we just had to call them after we got through immigration and they met us outside the terminal 5 minutes later.
