Forums Other Airport lounges No1 Lounge at Heathrow T2

A quick visit this morning. Overall I was impressed.

Location on level 2 using lifts behind that Louis vuitton cafe/shop/A17
I had pre booked but to be honest I don’t think there was any need as lounge was at 20%-30% capacity.
In terms of food it was mainly cold options with plenty of pastries, cereals, juices and yoghurt. The only hot option was porridge.
I had stopped by plaza premium beforehand which was heaving as usual. The Plaza Pemium probably has more substantial choice of food.
Definitely much nicer space than plaza premium.

I stayed approx 40 mins as wanted to spend a bit of time in the EI lounge

Thanks for the early intel. Was there any sign up indicating whether any airlines have entered into contract with the No1 lounge?

I hope you got to the EI lounge and its much improved food and aircon. The mini soda bread loaves are exceptional.

Didn’t see any signs indicating contract with any airline.

Improved food and Aircon make EI lounge a nice spot but shame about the new seating arrangements on right side lounge. Those chairs by window were great for plane spotting.

5 mins to clear FastTrack and only a 15 min departure delay so a good morning at LHR for once 🙂

I was there yesterday too, at 17.00. Had booked as we had Amex Platinum credits available to use before the end of the year.

I was very impressed with the space and am now hoping Amex continue this initiative into 2025 as I would definitely pick No 1 over the Plaza Premium even though it’s a much smaller space.

Being right beside the EI gates is a big plus, it was very quite when we arrived but pretty much full as we left at around 18.45.

Cold food on offer (wraps, couscous, salad) but thought it was much higher quality than what you often get elsewhere. The porridge / soup pot was being used for Mulled Wine.

Birra Moretti on draft, had a Makers Mark too.

I spotted the “we are not taking any walk ups” board tucked away but not in use.

Will definitely head here next time I’m in T2.
