No more Hilton through e-rewards

Surveys with e-rewards always were hard work. Top hotel redemption was to swap 8000 e-rewards points for 7000 Hilton Honors. Originally that bought about one Hampton night; lately you were needing at least four of those redemptions. Anyway, the Honors reward has gone. You can still redeem 10,000 e-rewards points for 4000 in IHG but, in my opinion, the effort is now disproportionate. I’ll soldier on for now, because I had reached the 8000 for a Hilton. After that, surveys for cash are now looking a better method. Perhaps they always were.
