Virgin look to be findings ways to lure you away from elsewhere, New email received:
Your next holiday should elevate more than just your mood.
That’s why from 13th March, we’re doubling the Tier Points on Virgin Atlantic Holidays, so each getaway takes you towards a higher Flying Club status even faster. Giving you perks like priority check in, boarding and extra bags, in true VIP style
Plus, spend £4,000 and the lead booker will receive a bonus 200 Tier Points – just book by 30th September 2025.
Sun, sea and… Silver status
Earn double Tier Points on Virgin Atlantic flights when you book three nights or more
200 bonus Tier Points for the lead booker when you spend £4,000 or more*
Silver status for the lead booker if flying Economy Delight or Premium, or for your whole party if in Upper Class*
Aye, seems canny that like
Must be a way to exploit this to get a tier point run sorted…. Sure an article will come out soon

Just organising one now based on this.
Had a trip in mind that I was going to book with airfare and one night with VS Hols then the rest direct.
Now the deal’s on, more of that to VS Hols and less direct.
£4,126 should net me 160 TPs plus 100 on the flight plus the bonus ones for over £4k, plus companion gets Silver (useless to her, mind).
This may be a daft question but does this only apply to new bookings or existing ones.
Here’s what I’ve learned today:
– double TPs applies when you book a VS Holiday with VS flights
– existing bonus VS Hols TPs still exist (ie 20 per £500) – for now
– bookings worth £4k+ booked between 13/03 and 30/09 receive 200 extra TPs for lead booker
– Silver for everyone in part if travelling J, else lead book receives Silver if travelling W or Y and £4k+
– change and cxn. fees do not apply toward £4k spend, but TFS seems to
– booking must contain car and/or hotel for at least three days
This may be a daft question but does this only apply to new bookings or existing ones.
Not a daft question. Haven’t seen a canonical answer – would imagine new only, but who knows…
Existing earn 20 TPs per £500 has now been dissolved in favour of this.
Also new is that existing Golds can book two holidays “flying Upper Class” to retain. Will see if I can get clarification on whether this is J rtn or if o/w suffices.
I have two holidays at VLE Ulusaba safari lodge this year. I booked flights with Virgin Atlantic and booked Ulusaba directly with the Lodge. Will any of these benefits accrue with these bookings? Impossible to find a Virgin email address to which I can send this query.
