There is a new Mastercard HH card from Advanzia Bank, which is replacing the outgoing partnership of VISA with DKB.
Hopefully this is a success and there will be a new one in the UK soon.
It depends on how you look at it. For point earning fantastic.
But in terms of status, Hilton is already saturated with Diamonds – this card could just make that worse (assuming you’ll get free stay credits with the card and diamond is much easily attainable).

*My O Level German is rather basic but it also seems to be saying you get Gold just for holding the card? Sounds a bit too good to be true!
@NorthernLass it is true, €72 for the card and its benefits, including fee free foreign purchases, and the rest of the benefits is a card that would work well over here. Even at £100 per year.

The card was free, you could use the voucher in ANY hotel with no category cap, you could cancel and you could later reapply. I thought it was great and still would!
I always find it funny when people claim Hotel chains are saturated with elite members as if the chain isn’t constantly growing their footprint and room count and knows exactly how many elite members they have and don’t have.

What does this mean?
I think it means you can’t spend €40000 and get diamond, you either need to stay 40 nights or spend €60000
I thought it meant rollover nights. Since it’s not in the UK market, it’s all a bit academic anyway.
