Forums Other London life Need to talk shop over lunch next Friday (15/12)

Needing help from the hive mind…. Am looking for somewhere to have a working lunch next Friday. I know I probably couldn’t have picked a worse day, but from past experience if I can find somewhere that’s not a hardwood floor and massively open plan, we might be able to make it work.

Needs to be somewhere around the Chancery Lane/Farringdon area, no real preference in terms of food.

    All ideas welcome!

The Rosewood? short walk from Chancery Lane.

The Rosewood? short walk from Chancery Lane.

Am familiar with the big brasserie type place along the front there but was concerned that the hard wood floors and open plan design would simply tick all the noisy boxes!

Bouchon Racine by Farringdon Station is superb, and small enough to be quiet (ish).

Gazette in Took’s Court is a bit hidden.

Bouchon Racine looks great but is full. Gazette looks good but is a shade too far. Think I’ve found somewhere, though. Thanks all!
