Thanks for the tip, though now I have a small dilemma! I had always auto-converted but when the Nectar-Bonvoy partnership was teased a few months back I turned it off in case there was a bonus of some sort when the partnership was finally fully announced. It was said to be ‘early 2025’. Do I take up this new offer or hold out for something that I don’t when or what it might be?!
Would converting my Avios balance to Nectar beforehand, and then setting auto convert for it all to transfer back to Avios work? 🙂

You would lose a lot of Avios by doing that.
I’m sitting on £160 worth of nectar.
If I switch on auto convert, will it move my existing balance at 25% or do I need to manually do it at 15% bonus? I’m sure there is a maximum somewhere as well.

Auto conversion moves all your Nectar points to Avios weekly (on Mondays IIRC). Minimum is 400 Nectar points and then in multiples of 400. There is a cap of 40,000 Nectar points in a 3 month period for Auto conversion. In addition there is a cap of 80,000 Nectar per month for manual conversion. The two caps are independent of each other.
Under this offer the automatic/manual points will be credited as normal, with the 25% or 15% bonus added separately within 28 days of the promotion end date (30th April)
If you’re sat on £160 worth of Nectar than that’s 32,000 points which is under the auto-conversion cap so that’s the best option.
