Trying to do this today but Iberia keeps logging out at the combine Avios stage. Any way around this?
I had no problems dong this a couple of months ago – have you tried the usual, different browser, etc?
I have tried safari and edge, keep getting the same error message when trying to combine Avios on Iberia site “your session has timed out, please log in again”. Even when I log in again I keep getting the same message..

You’ve jogged my memory a bit more – when I first tried to move the avios (they’d been sat with IB for nearly 2 years) there was some issue, I seem to remember the website just wouldn’t take me past the log in page, though I didn’t get any error messages. I left it a day or so then tried again and it worked. Possibly also reset my password!
Thanks @NorthernLass. Yes Avios been sitting there a while. I’ve been trying intermittently for months to move them but same error message every time. Will try to change password and see what happens..
Changed password, still same error message 🙁
Have you tried it from both the BA site and the Iberia site?
Do you have a middle name on your Iberia account but not your BA account?
I have moved Avios from Iberia in the past so names must match. I can’t remember exactly how it used to work, through Avios.com or something first then on to BA.
Looking at BA combine Avios I get message “you are not eligible to combine your Avios with Iberia Plus” but allows me to transfer Avios to Qatar.
If I have linked with Qatar last year does that preclude me from transferring with Iberia?

I’ve never heard that happening before and it would seem unlikely.
It sounds like you have never moved from Iberia to BA directly before, only via avíos.com. This makes me think it’s a name issue, and that would be the thing to check.
Does the error message I keep getting seem right for a name issue?
Will contact Iberia to see if that is the problem.
Thanks @ChrisBCN

Neither BA nor Iberia can figure out the issue. Get the same error message of “your session has timed out, please log in again” on Iberia and the same message is now appearing when I try combine Avios from BA too. BA twitter managed to move the Avios manually but couldn’t sort the underlying issue 🙁
Worked fine for me tonight, using BA to move 2k for my wife from her IB account.

Do you have your personal details inputted correctly on Iberia? Crucially one of the things you need to move avios between Iberia and BA is to have an address/postcode inputted in to your Iberia account. You wouldn’t know this because it isn’t highlighted as a required field but there is a bug that it won’t let you transfer avios if you don’t input one.
There’s also another bug that you can’t input any letters into the postcode because it’s Spanish format postcode. Just put in the numbers from your UK postcode on your Iberia personal details and try again to see if it works.
Working now. I checked using both safari and edge last week but on mobile, didn’t work. Tried using edge on laptop today and it worked… go figure! Did not work using safari…
