Since the start of the year I’ve had a British Airways American Express Accelerating Business Card. In May I noticed that the On Business points were not being added to my account. I flagged this up with Amex and now on a weekly basis I am contacting them and they keep saying to wait a few more days. It’s beyond a joke now.
The most frustrating thing is I was a few hundred points shy of what I needed to book a recent flight, so had to book a cash fare and the points I want to use expire in a few months time, meaning they’re probably going to go to waste.
Has anyone had any experience of this at all? Literally every week I message Amex via their app and they say the department are looking into it but require a few more weeks. The way I see it now is that I pay a fee for my card for a service which includes giving me OnBusiness points. They’re not providing that service. I’m not quite sure what else I can do at this stage.
