    Just as a data point for anyone who might find themselves in the same situation.
    For then past 4 years I’ve been receiving my voucher just after my annual anniversary. I honestly hadn’t paid much attention as due to Covid and minimal flying with Virgin I was Red tier. 2022 I flew enough to achieve silver – whoo! 2-4-1 unlocked.
    I’ll loose that in November this year and unlikely to be able to achieve this again. After definitely meeting the spending goal, I was looking forward to the voucher having arriving in April so I could make the most of this.
    No voucher.

    I’ve spent the last 4 weeks trying to figure out what was going on, as i certainly hadn’t spent £10,000 in the first week of my card year. – had I received one early one year so they couldn’t issue another one in the same year, when i reached the goal so it had all been knocked back to the next year? There was thread on FT where this had happened to someone.

    After chasing it 3 times and being told twice that yes I was missing a voucher, it turns out since 2020 they have been issuing the voucher in advance of me actually spending the money. So I’m not missing a voucher. I think this is happening to player 2 as well.

    Inevitably, this year is the year they decide to pick up on this. I’ve lodged a polite complaint -not asking for anything, and not about the missing voucher as its not missing and I need to spend the required amount of money, but I do think they could have handled my enquiry a little better.

    So if you think you are missing a voucher, or you are assuming it’ll turn up at your card anniversary to be able to book something, might be worth a check.

    +1 to checking. They are known to issue vouchers around, but not necessarily after, a spending threshold has been hit. And I have chased up missing Gold renewal vouchers before now, and done quite well out of that…

    Always worth keeping an eye on these things.

    I seem to get something similar to this every year too. I get the email saying I’ve qualified for the voucher and it will be in my account within 30 days but it never actually shows up until a few days after my credit card membership renewal date (even if I’ve earned it months beforehand). It has never really bothered me before now but i guess it might do one day….

    tbh it wouldn’t ever have bothered me, until I got to silver and wanted to make the most of it. The bit that irks me is that by giving it me in advance they expire earlier too.
