Help!
I logged in to Head for Points Forums today and I was asked to prove my income.
After submitting my most recent payslips, a recent bank statement and energy bill, I was told my income isn’t high enough to remain a user of this site!
Posting after fudging my income to get through the second time around.
Please help me, Rob, Rhys and Sinead are getting out of control and must be stopped!
Minimum household income pre tax should be £140k.
Possibly closer to £70k for many readers.
The best points for the poorer people is the current Nectar Shop for Points Challenge, no minimum spend.
They are mainly checking for expenditure. They will make assumptions about your level of surplus and therefore ability to afford credit.
I’ve had a negative income for a number of years.

Johnny D, is that really you…?

Quite.
When there are so many other sites already polluted… why don’t certain things stay on those other sites.

I did and shortly after the offending post was removed.
There was no indication that anyone else had reported the post until then.
But now it looks as though @executiveclubber is objecting to @Guernsey Globetrotter!

I like the word ‘garnering’. Not so much the word ‘fraud’ …!
This thread rather shows that some people have a sense of humour and others don’t! Stating the blindly obvious I know but I don’t think an occasional light hearted comment is out of place. If the Forums and Chat got flooded with non miles and points topics then of course that would be bad. As for moderation would those advocating it be prepared to pay to access HfP so that the latter could employ staff to do said moderation? I think not. Also, true miles and points obsessives – err I mean enthusiasts – will collect every point or mile they can be it Nectar points for a tin of carrots or an Amex SUB!

I meant to click on Quote button, ended up reporting your post.
I’d pay for the comments and forum.

Me too BBbetter. But it doesn’t sound viable as Rob and colleagues already seem to work all hours and more staff would require a lot of paying subscribers.
Much much bigger forums get by without having to hire people specifically to moderate, so don’t know exactly why tiny one would need a paid person to do something some nerd can do for free.
