Marriot Suite Night Awards – when do they appear?

In Jan I obtained plat status by doing a 16 night challenge through Marriott – I’m currently on 37 nights (15 of which are from Marriott Amex card)

In May I would done 50 nights (due to a trip to Thailand and Marriott hotels being very cheap there ) which I believe will keep my plat status for next year too if not mistaken

When will I get the suite night awards ? Will it be next year or in May when I hit 50 nights

As soon as you hit 50 nights you can choose your 50 night bonus, which can be Suite Night Awards. No need to wait until next year.

Thanks Rob , do they need to be used this year or can I carry over to 2025

They will be valid until the end of 2025 (ie the year after you earn them).

You will be able to choose the bonus a few days after you hit 50 nights, you have until January the 7th to choose. If you haven’t chosen by then the default is Nightly Upgrade Awards (the new name for SNA).

The only reason I wouldn’t choose them straight away would be if I thought I might end up between 70 and 74 nights for the year and might need the elite night credits to hit Titanium. Otherwise just take the Upgrade awards

Will I get another lot in Jan ?

I’ll hit the 50 night count in May this year. If I get to 75 nights this year and hit titanium will I get another lot then ? (Hoping they will do another promo with extra elite credits later in year)
