Do you get the opportunity to leave the plane and head to the terminal on the direct (1-stop) flight?
You normally get about 1-1.5 hour gap between flights. Lounge is about a 6 minute walk away so nice to stretch your legs. However, you will have to go back through security at the gate and the lines for this can be quite long. We usually find (pre Covid) there was enough time to grab a shower, have a cup of tea and a snack and read some of the paper before heading back. Plenty of shops around the lounge as well. However the time is short and will go quickly. Plane usually departs from same gate it arrives at and you will need to take all your stuff.
