When I send an HfP link via WhatsApp for Windows, WhatsApp doesn’t create a preview of the link, which makes it less appealing to the recipient to read. If I send the same HfP link using WhatsApp for iPhone or if I send links to other web sites using WhatsApp for Windows, then WhatsApp does create a preview. What’s different about HfP that causes this difference in WhatsApp behaviour between Windows and iPhone? Is something perhaps missing or misconfigured in HfP’s HTTP headers? I’ve experienced this with only a tiny number of other web sites in the past, but most of them fixed it somehow.
