Hi everyone,
Apologies if I should have posted in a different section instead. I’m flying economy out of LHR this Sunday at noon with Virgin Atlantic and I think I have access to both the Centurion lounge (via a Amex Plat card) and Virgin Clubhouse (via Krisflyer Gold). Would appreciate your thoughts on which one is better (especially at that timing)!
Please also let me know if my assumptions are wrong and I won’t actually be able to access the lounges through those routes! Thanks in advance and happy Friday everyone
Clubhouse – it’s a bit of a no-brainer.
That’s not to say, if you are 3 hours early, that you shoudn’t visit the Centurion Lounge just to have a look, because it is quite smart. It doesn’t compare to the Clubhouse though – it doesn’t even have natural light and it certainly doesn’t have a restaurant.
Clubhouse every time – Centurion will always underwhelm. But as Rob said, pop in, have a look around and then get back to Clubhouse pronto. I popped into the JFK one before Christmas as you basically have to pass it after security – had a quick drink in the Speakeasy but left after 20 minutes to spend my time in the Clubhouse and its restaurant.
