I’m sure this has been asked before but I can’t find a google query to find the answer.
We are flying BA LHR-SIN-SYD tomorrow and will have to change planes in Changi. Assuming no delays we will have 1hr 40 mins in Changi – is there enough time for a flying visit to the Qantas or Qatar lounges?

Short answer – yes but only one.
You’ll land probably C23, and have to hot foot it down to either the QR or the QF for a quick shower and maybe a graze at the buffet, before doing the quick stroll back to the gate where you will find total mayhem as security is done at the gate …

I think the description of total mayhem is a bit out of proportion. Have never had any issues with the at gate security at Changi…
Nothing is mayhem at Changi ! But there is no priority for the security scan so can get caught in a queue
Assuming you’re in CW , you can’t enter Qatar lounge using status. There is also a chance they’ll deny you entry as they have a flight going to Doha at the same time so I’d be tempted not to go there as it’ll waste precious minutes if you can’t get in!
It’s also absolute peak time for the QF lounge with Aus departures whereas the BA lounge isn’t busy yet as the London flights x2 are much later, so I wouldn’t rule out just going there. You’ll also get accurate boarding updates too.
I’ve been on the BA LON/SIN/SYD twice in Business.
Both times it was easy to use the Qatar lounge. I think that “A flying visit” is right – and you have to decide whether to prioritise shower or meal.
You dont actually change planes in SIN. You get back on the same plane, but it will have a new crew. It’s a direct flight.
If getting a shower is a priority – which lounge has the most available showers?

That is good. I have read a few reports that they deny people around this time but I am sure it depends how busy things are. They also do not have many showers but I’ve never actually seen them in use!
