Hi everyone, we are coming to the end of an amazing two weeks in California. It’s 9am here and I have just been notified of an hour delay to our flight home. As this is a 10 hour notice of the delay, VS0142 was at 18:55 now delayed to 19:55, is it safe to arrive at the airport an hour later than planned (still allowing 3 hours) there is nothing in the email either way and I would prefer not to have to call as we are having our last morning at Disney and there are still some princesses left for my 5 year old to meet! Any advice greatly appreciated and if anyone is in the know about why it is delayed and if we should expect further delays that would be amazing too!
The inbound flight left an hour and three quarters late but is very much on the way.
Yes you will be fine arriving two hours before the original flight time if that is your question.
Thank you so much for your reply, and for checking that the inbound is delayed, that is reassuring!
Actually my advice would be to check in at the scheduled time unless specifically notified otherwise
What would you do if you turned up late and found the desks closed?
I did tweet Virgin and they confirmed that we should arrive 3 hours before the updated departure. We’re also allowing 2 hours to get from Anaheim to LAX so hopefully should be ok 🤞
