This has been a very long haul! I applied for Status Match on 20/03/22.
I have today received acceptance (hopefully not backdated)!ITA have just launched another status match but you have to take a flight with them first.
It is a good way of getting Skyteam membership. Silver or Gold BA gets top teir Skyteam.
Hopefully when Delta/KLM/AF buy ITA they may actually recognise that status properly
That is crazy!
