Need to book some flights in Turkey. Staying at the Conrad and have the choice of flying ex SAW or ISL
Both prices are the same
SAW has a 2 cabin plane (can assign sets up front – obvs that could change) and there’s a Plaza Premium lounge
ISL means normal seats and I can access the IGA lounge with Priority Pass
I think ISL will be the faster journey but don’t think there’s much in it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Tony
I did both. I think the IGA at IST is better than the plaza at SAW.
Getting to IST is pain but no more than to SAW from/to Conrad.
Also, if you are into it, IST is much better shopping.
Private transfer is pricy but worth it.
The IST pain may change when the new metro service opens. It really depends when you are arriving. I arrived at 4pm and there were plenty of cabs waiting and the traffic wasn’t too bad. I like the IGA lounge, plenty of space and good staff.
