To eligible for a fresh Premier card bonus do you have to leave 6 months since closing your lost Premier card? Or 6 months from closing any BC aviod card?
I bagged the premier welcome when it first opened and downgraded to the basic card..still have the basic card.
You are not eligible for an Avios card sign up bonus for two years after closure of a BC Avios card. You can apply for a new BC of any type after six months, but no bonus.
I have read a few (possibly quite incorrect!) comments that people had been able to get this Avios card <6 months after cancelling the Hilton Honours Card. If this is the case, great, if not does the “failed” application count on one’s credit file or does it not get that far due to the check on previous Barclaycards?
You may still be able to get the card, but the rules for the SUB seem to be 2 years between avios cards and 6 months between any other Barclaycard and the avios one.
