Should a Diamond Elite Ambassador get free breakfast at an Intercon or just welcome amenity points?

The Dubai Festival city trio of IC, CP and HI are all in denial about Diamond benefits.

Which makes me think maybe it should have been comp at the Kimpton Saint George too 🤦🏼♂️Can someone confirm that as Diamond, we get free breakfast for two at Indigo Hotels? Also, I note that certain Kimptons will not provide this benefit, but unable to find a list which ones don’t. Does anyone know?

I had a frustrating exchange with IHG over which Kimptons will be taking part. They eventually admitted they had no idea and it would be down to guests to check with the hotels. I think I’ve seen on here that the Clocktower is doing it and also possibly Charlotte Square and Blythswood. Surprisingly, the Kimpton Seafire, where I’m headed next month, is also offering it, on the island where they barely stop short of shaking you down to see if you’ve any money left!There’s another one mentioned on the chat thread from yesterday, in America, but I can’t recall which.

I thought the word “select” had been removed from the T&C, and therefore all Kimptons were now included
That would explain why the Seafire changed its stance – they were initially refusing to entertain the notion! The breakfast there varies between £80 and £100 per room per day depending on how many nights you book!

no qualifier agasinst Kimptons which there was previously.
Also it’s for the member + 1 guest staying in the same room.
