Apologies if I’ve missed this discussed elsewhere but when did Virgin increase the points needed for a redemption? I used 35k (17500 each way) for my off peak premium eco to SVD last month (then an upgrade voucher to upper).
The same for next year is 27500 each way! Bit of a huge jump. I’m going by seat-spy here and what they say are off peak dates.
No they have not increased prices, your first reward is in standard season, the 27500 is most likely for peak travel. Alternatively is the second price operated by VS or is it a multi leg flight touching DL/AF/KL

Odd. It definitely said ‘off peak’ on the seatspy date thing. Definitely operated by Virgin too. Reassuring if they’ve not upped the points required & SS are wrong though. Thanks.
