I am due a free night in the next few months from Creation on the old Black card. Previous free nights were searchable following the link in my account. Im trying to do some foward planning and wanted to search for free night availbility for next year. I cannot seem to find any way to do this without having the free night credited to my account.
Does anyone have a link which can be used to search for the UK CC free night?

As far as I know you have to have the certificate in your account to be able to do it; the only link I’ve ever seen is to search for the Ambassador free night.
Also, bear in mind that the Creation free night, is only a ‘free night” for rooms up to 70,000 points. If the room is over that, the free night search will show no availability
Don’t be trying to book a Holiday Inn in London or Miami then 😂

Well, it’s been my experience that 70k was the limit, any higher than that it would show no availability. It may just have been me, but of course the call centre were unable to clarify it.
My understanding was that there was a 40k limit on redemptions from one of the US credit cards, but that there was no limit on the Creation one. Though it’s all a bit academic now for many of us! But there were plenty of top hotels under 70k points until recently so I may just have been labouring under a misapprehension.
No limit on UK IHG free voucher. I had the IC Bora Bora Thalasso Spa booked for this September with it, but cancelled. You still have to wear masks on boats in Tahiti and my cancellation deadline was approaching.
Voucher now back in my account with a book by date of Dec 31st this year, but online now it is allowing me – for example – to book any of the three ICs in French Polynesia on 25th April next year.
IC Thalasso Spa was £1200 per night!
If you have something in mind, just ask and I can check.

Yes I used my 2 vouchers on a suite at a Mr & Mrs Smith Rocco Forte hotel in Italy a few weeks back and it was a fantastic redemption!

You have Jan 4-10, Apr 1-25 and May 1-14 showing.
I see it is a Mr and Mrs Smith hotel, so whether a booking on any of those days will actually work might be another issue!
@Colin thanks for your help. I think some Mr & Mrs Smith hotels are bookable on CC voucher. It can be hit or miss however
hello, anyone aware of any time that the IHG Rewards Plus free night voucher has been used at a very expensive Mr and Mrs Smith property and not been honoured for any reason. Just wondering as it would seem to be a glitch on their system give the terms and conditions of the offer? Thanks, TT
I booked Mr & Mrs Smith, Grove of Narberth. Standard room with points for 3 nights, then £1000 suite with a voucher for the final night. I asked and they put us in their best mid category room (as big as their junior suites but better positioned in my view) for all nights. Basically, it seems they saw the voucher as a cash booking for the full £1k so used the average of value of the 4 nights towards the room we stayed in.
Just used the creation black voucher for Bellevue presidents suite in Dubrovnik. EURO 4,000 value!!
Simply awesome hotel in an awesome location
Came with free breakfasts, EURO 60 wine bar credit, full bottle of Moët champagne welcome gift and a huge fruit bowl and local sweets.
Oh, and free transfers from marina/airport.
Honestly this must be a record breaker for £99 fee

Any tips for finding these Mr&Mrs redemptions? It seems like hit and miss. Looks like quite a few new places have been added to UHG’s systems, but not finding any rewards availability.

Sorry if this has been answered already, although I’ve searched and couldn’t find the answer in HfP or in the IHG Free Night details or T&Cs… I know I have to book the free night by 31/12/2022 but do we have to stay by that date or can I book a date for some time during 2023?

It should say in the voucher Ts and Cs – it’s usually book by but some extended ones were changed to be stay by during the pandemic.
