A couple of months ago I was wrote that I earned 600 Virgin Tier points on Singapore airlines and as a result went from Red with zero TPs to Silver . The Virgin app confirmed I was in Silver (upon hitting 400) but my TP balance had been zeroed after reaching silver so I felt aggrieved as I had lost 200 . The response on here was that was to be expected. However , I went on to VS website (rather than the App) today and logged in and am told yes I am Silver and have 600 TPs and only another 400 to reach Gold . Seems strange that you get completely different information on the app versus the website . Virgin , if you are reading, you need to sort this out ! You are trying to incentivise me to travel but you are concealing the incentive.
It seems that various apps I have, mainly financial, are limited in their functionality and certain procedures can only be performed on the website yet when you go on a company’s website the first thing you see is a message urging you to try the app because it’s so much better.
