not sure how long this has been possible, and whether it’s been mentioned before but I’ve just discovered where you can see your points total without having to login to the rewards portal website.
open the app and then go the credit cards.
The screen is sort of split into two sections – select the bottom section and simply just drag it down. 🙂
That’s always been possible. It was briefly removed when they were switching to the new portal.
It’s a miracle!
On the downside, IHG was removed as a transfer partner a few weeks ago.
Maybe they could start showing expiry also?
They do actually show expiry on the portal, not on the app.
If you click on spend you points, it will list all the transactions and points earned. Then on the top, there will be a small banner to show how many points are expiring this month.
It’s certainly an improvement, but having to use desktop site to check is a pain.

Any chance of Virgin becoming a partner airline any time soon??
Wow – never thought of swiping that down! It also shows the available balance taking account of pending transactions which rather unhelpfully the number at the top of the screen doesn’t do! Really wish they would show expiry rather than you having to manually calculate it yourself from earnings date.
