Just to let everyone know it took 48 hours for the charge to show on the transaction I made.
I got charged £15 for a £500 card payment that I thought wouldn’t have fallen under the naughty categories.What was it?
The Y1 bonus for spending £12k should post in the statement month after anniversary when the new Y2 fee will also be charged. The points have not been showing on statements since July, but you can now see the points and better breakdown than before on a desktop or iPad. Barclaycard also doesn’t show points on statements.

I can’t believe that HSBC still insists on using paper forms.
I used the call centre to make a request to downgrade from the world elite card to the free version.
However, they cannot make any changes until I sign and post a form to them.Hopefully, they can complete this before my year 3 fees kick in.

Do I understand it right HSBC WE connected Via Curve Metal no longer gets you Avios on credit card payments and HMRC payments.
I have no points awarded on last 2 statements. Checked online as well.Seems like no point to keep WE and probably metal as well so do we get any pro rata fee refund.
Any suggestion which else is still ok like Barclays avios or capital on tap. Etc

There’s a query that you may be able to get a new signup bonus if you put through 2k again as it’s a new points platform. Otherwise you may want to downgrade if the idea of transferring points to more airlines than just avios gets youHas anyone transferred to avios recently? How many days does it take?

I renewed in March so guess no point cancelling till March again if no refund.

Yes I did a test transfer of 500 points the other day, took about an hour for the points to show up in the BA app.

Thanks xefo, my transfer a few days back was rejected but today’s request was processed quickly.
So do I just use the WE card as normal and after 2000 it gives 2K points.
Also is there any other card that allow HMRC payments via curve like Barclays / Cap on Tap etc

I’m simply pointing out what other people said has happened to them since the new rewards system went live. Up to you if you wish to try.

AARGH! I am in my second year and should have had that 40,000 as I spent £12k in the first year. Yet they have removed it. Given up trying to get through on the phone, so submitted a complaint. GRRR.

Yea, came here to check with others. I spoke with their digital rewards team, who explained they are migrating points, and that nothing has been subtracted. I’m not exactly sure what that means, and to be honest I can’t remember what my statement said before the yesterday’s deduction day (d-day).

Mine too, “ Miscellaneous—Bonus -40,000”. I wonder if the balance could go negative if someone transferred them out.

same here, second year started a few weeks ago. They have removed the 2nd year anniversary bonus.
