I’m in the fortunate position of having a million HH points, which I plan to use for a trip for myself and my husband in 2024.
I am Hilton gold so looking to utilise the 5 night deal.
I had hoped to book Ithaafushi but availability seems impossible to get. I’m considering the Conrad Rangali – but are there any other gems I’m missing? It doesn’t have to be in the Maldives!
I’d be adding Conrad Koh Samui, Conrad Bora Bora and Hilton Moorea into the mix.
But you need to decide which destination you’d rather go to first and then work back!
There are a couple of nice-looking Hilton resorts in Seychelles; 10 nights there is on my to do list! I also have about a million points but have so far just used them for 5 night stays on very expensive dates, e.g. last Christmas.
Having been in that position last year (well, 1.5M points) it depends on what you are looking for. It doesn’t go that far at good properties.
There are a number of Caribbean properties if you want sun, sand and culture.
There are some all inclusive in Mexico (and one in Turkey/Dominican Republic) if that’s what you are after.
To be honest I’m a bit stuck myself as to what I want to spend them on…I was tempted by the new Bermuda property opening this year.
Nice – I’ll take a look at Bora Bora and Bermuda.
I won these points so I’m keen to spend them on a once-in-a-lifetime holiday (which, for me, something like The Maldives is). We’re well travelled but I’m usually happy staying in a standard Hilton-level property.
I have spend 960,000 on 10 days at the Conrad at Rangali Maldives. Easy to burn points in a jiffy. Yes it’s an amazing resort but it’s expensive there and flights are not exactly cheap either.
Other quality resorts offer good value too and are far easier to get too, I like the Conrad in the Algarve for example. 5 nights for about 360,000 in a base level room and its a lovely resort with plenty to do nearby if you hire a car. Other than that , Hilton Malta is a cool resort and worth considering at upwards from 60k a night. Five nights is probably enough for Malta. You could do 5 days in each and have 200k plus change for another trip.
I didn’t know about Bermuda, thanks @Peter K! Planning to go and see family in summer 2024 as it’s over 20 years since our last visit.
Gar! Says opening July 25th, 2024, which will probably be a bit late for us.
One reminder is the reachability of some of those resorts.
But if you really want to make it to French Polynesia, you can turn it into a longer trip:
Few days in LA/SanFran and/or Hawai on the way could be nice.
For me number two dream destination is Japan which has a great Hilton spread in and outside Tokyo.

Boo. I’d read November 2023. An article from only 3 months ago started that date. I was hoping to go April next year.
