I’m looking at applying for the Amex Plat Business card. I am able to meet minimum spend requirement within days. When do bonus the points post/become useable?
In Amex fine print it says points will post at the end of the promotional period. Hoping this is not true, as I would need the points ASAP to book an award.
If anyone with knowledge on this can advise, I’d greatly appreciate.
You get the bonus immediately – ie as soon as the transaction which takes you across the spending threshold hits your Amex account.
Obviously with co-brand cards like the BA ones you’d still need to wait a couple of weeks for them to be transferred across, but with Membership Rewards cards they are yours to spend immediately.
