Hey, new Platinum card arrived yesterday but when I activated and set up my online account there aren’t any offers showing, e.g. dining, to activate.
How long do they typically take to appear?
Also, I’ve enrolled in Hilton Gold using my existing Honors account. How long does this take to reflect new status, as I’m planning a couple of trips next week.

The dining and HN will be the first to appear, probably within 48 hours. The other offers will trickle through over time.
Not sure about how long the hotel status take.

I’ve barely got 15 offers on my Gold card that I opened three months ago. As for the offers that should be included with the card, you can directly ask CS to add it manually for you.

Made first online transaction this morning for some concert tickets. Are offers based on your spending habits?
You can have mine… I’ve currently got 90 offers on my basic MR card, only 2 of which are of any use.
Based on the three cards I have, the BA branded card has the most offers, but I have also spent the most on the BA card too, so I’m guessing it is somehow related to your spending pattern.

I think to an extent, for example the Morrisons offer if I use it in card 1, next time it comes around I may get the offer on card 1 again but the % return is lower than card 2 where I have never spent in Morrisons.
Similarly if I get the Lululemon offer on my plat card and I use it, the next time it comes around I don’t get it on my plat but get it on my BAPP. So where I get the same offer across my cards, I try to only use it on one card to make sure I get them again on at least one card. Unless they are really good deals where you would want to max it out.
My oldest card gets the most offer which is the plat card, but not where the most spending has been for the last year.
It seems to take around two weeks for offers starting to come in whenever I get a new Amex. Though the HN and Dining offer can be added by customer services manually if you need them sooner than that
Thanks for the responses, everyone. 48 hours in and no offers just yet but the Hilton Gold status is now showing on my existing Honors account which is pretty quick.
