Hi,
I cancelled an award booking with Singapore Airlines at the end of February, for a flight in early April. It seems that Singapore did indeed cancel the flight as it stopped showing in my Krisflyer account. However, I am still waiting for the miles to be returned, along with the taxes. I’ve contacted them twice on twitter and they just say ‘please be patient, refunds are taking longer at the moment’. I’ve submitted a ‘contact us’ form twice, and had no reply, apart from the auto acknowledgement email. It’s impossible to speak to anyone at the call centre as they don’t pick up the phone. Does anyone have any idea how long this will take, or have another avenue of contact?! I can’t believe it takes 2 months?!
It took about a month for me. Let me just say for everyone else on this forum, Singapore Airlines are a joke when it comes to their customer service on the ground. One time I waited 6 hours on hold to get through to them after they cancelled my flights.
I’ve cancelled six bookings in the last six months or so.
Five worked flawlessly, one didn’t. Took it up with the chat again and had my points and cash back a week later. The chat starts with a bit but you can reach a human fairly easily.
