Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club How far do my wife’s BA Silver benefits stretch?

  • 64 posts

Flying to Seville next week with the wife, our 2 children and my parents. The 4 of us are flying Club Europe on Avios but my mum and dad are euro traveller. Wife has BA Silver, can they both use business check in with us as her guest?

Appreciate we wont have lounge access for all of us as its one guest with Silver not two but will be nice to all check in together if possible!

Bring one guest, exit the lounge, rinse and repeat.

You think BA don’t record that you’ve already guested someone in?

They’ll let you all check in together. Ask very nicely (don’t demand) and you might just get lucky at lounge.

But you can go in, go back out to shop, and go back in.

I would ask nicely as your wife already has lounge access as a Silver member AND CE ticket – would be rather mean not to let you all in. Otherwise you can loiter for a moment or two and ask a lone traveller to guest you in (I did it recently when travelling with my wife & son – only one Silver card). The lounge dragon wasn’t impressed, but I don’t make the rules….

I have more than once guested in a child in the same situation as the Dad (usually) argues/pleads with the lounge staff – sometimes they just refuse even small children.
