So BA have dropped one of the daily flights to miami next year. So i’ve tried to re-book on to another flight and just get an error message.
Tried to call and get the “sorry we’re taking……” message and cut off. Online chat says no one is available.
No wonder BA has gone to the dogs.
I’m having the same issue.
I’d prefer to swap to MCO instead of Miami but can’t get through to anyone.
We’ve got three seats on two bookings due to companion vouchers and need to be on the same flight.
MCO is LGW though isn’t it? I’d prefer MCO as well, but with the amount of last minute gatwick cancellations decided to do MIA and drive.
Similar here. The only good thing is when I booked I had to put two of us on the 5pm flight back and 1 on the 9pm, with the 9pm being cancelled we’re all on the same flight.
Will or have the A380’s had the club suite fitted?
When was it cancelled? Sometimes it takes a few days for the ability to pick an alternative flight in MMB to appear.
It’s letting me choose an alternative, gets to the next screen, then when confirming I get an error.
Just spoken to them and was told they wouldn’t put us on the Mco flight as there’s no reward availability. I questioned that as it’s a cancellation and he said we can only change airport if it’s less than 350 miles.
Got off the phone and checked and it’s only 228 miles!
Typical! But would this then be from LGW and not LHR?
Yes Lgw but that’s fine for us as it’s closer to home.
Called again and spoke to a lovely lady who has put us on the Orlando flight. She said that they’d change to any other airport in Florida.
I’ve moved ours from Tuesday to Sunday but still from MIA, We can spend a couple of days in cocoa beach now before universal, We’re cruising out of Port Canaveral then Miami the following week and get back into Miami on the Saturday so it’s easier for us to come back from MIA.

That’s great news.

I should point out that such an airport change is BA policy only and not a statutory right you can insist on.

We’re cruising from Port Canaveral too but heading home after disembarkation. We only chose Mia for the club suites so may as well have the shorter drive back to Orlando.
I did think about flying back a couple of days later and staying in Vero Beach but we’d be really tight with school starting the next day.
What ship and date?
