I usually prepay when booking with hotels.com but I have the ihg offer on my amex. On my booking it says I pay hotel on arrival so assuming this will stack and enable me to trigger the offer. Hotel is £304 for the night and we are staying before the offer ends. Thanks
You mean you are booking an IHG hotel through hotels.com, then yes paying at the hotel should qualify for the Amex offer as long as it’s one of the hotels on the Amex list.
It’s worked for me in the past.
I always want to post-pay with hotels.com in the UK otherwise I don’t get a VAT receipt.
