Has the UK site gone over the Onekey over the weekend? I was searching on Friday and everything was dandy and today on uk.hotels.com I seem to be in Onekey with zero status and more importantly, over £300 of hotel vouchers GONE.
Still got my gold status here (using the UK site). Cannot comment on vouchers. Spent them all already the moment they announced the changes.
Appears to have gone over to OneKey with a link to previous activity
The iPad app is showing me with 8 stamps and some nights pending. I’d already assumed I’d lose these though, so I won’t be surprised if I don’t get to bank the spend with a discounted booking. I’m also Gold status if that makes a difference to the switch timeline.
This morning I can’t see anything. Just my upcoming trips, the rewards page is gone both on the app and desktop site.
EDIT: It’s now like that with every page.
I still see my rewards on hotel.com – all stamps and free nights. Both desktop and Android app.
It’s back for me now as well. Must have been some glitch.
Check it hasn’t bounced you over to the US site without you realising, maybe? Happened to me just now, showed me as OneKey blue with no rewards. After going through the FAQs I realised my region had for some reason changed to US – switching back to UK got me back to my usual rewards stuff. Seems that if you login on the US site, that automatically creates you a new OneKey account if you didn’t already have one, but your non-US Hotels.com account remains as before (for now), but you need to access it from your original account region site.
Has anyone seen an update on when Hotels.com will formally switch to Onekey in the UK? I assume it will sometime in 2024 but do we know which month/quarter?
I got switched when I logged in today. I couldn’t do anything on the site until I transitioned my account. And post transition, I have a big fat balance of zero. My historical activity is visible under “Past Hotels.com Rewards activity”, but nothing was brought across to the new scheme.
For a while now I’ve valued hotels.com on the same level as booking.com – I pick whatever is the best Avios credit at the same cash value.
