Hotel recommendations in Vancouver

Hi all. I need to be in Vancouver for 2 nights. Meeting at Fairmont hotel in downtown. But I have hilton diamond. Which one would you choose if price is the same?
Any alternate hotel? It has to be walking distance from fairmont.

The Shangri La and the Georgia are both good upmarket options within walking distance to the Fairmont. Despite also being Hilton Diamond I’ve not found the Hilton options appealing in Vancouver.

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont, would recommend. Always nice to stay at a city’s grand old hotel. The Shangri La a couple blocks away also has a good reputation. Don’t know about the Hilton, but I would imagine that it’s not quite as upmarket.

Not relevant to the OP but maybe helpful for other folk browsing this question – for a longer slightly cheaper leisure stay, we stayed in North Vancouver (at the Pinnacle, but others are available). The ferry across the harbour is fast and frequent.
