Ah thought this was re the Angel of the North, but re Islington tbh probably prefer the Doubletree, but either is fine

The Hilton is miles ahead, much newer feeling property and has an Exec Lounge. No contest.

+1 for Hilton. Friendly staff, comfortable bar.
The doubletree just feels too busy for me, like a big busy premier inn
