I posted an interesting (I hope) data point around Hilton status match offer on one of the daily forum threads a few days ago where it seems that HH status match offer page is rather outdated. I have been HH Silver for the last 4yrs having started work but then slowing down with work travel over covid and prioritizing stays at IHG Properties last year. Now that I have at least 3 work trips coming up in April I decided it was the right time to apply for status match and prioritize Hilton properties this year. I was expecting status thru 31st March 2024 assuming I meet the required stays but was pleasantly surprised when the email came in and told me I would be getting the status till 2025 instead. Needless to say I got another pleasant surprise this evening when another email came in advising me I was upgraded and will only need 5 nights for Gold or 9 nights for Diamond. I am on track, therefore, to maintain Gold for 2 years at least after my first work trip.
Thought I would share it in case anyone was going to do the status match but were also holding off a little bit hoping the offer will be updated (I know I was but couldn’t wait any longer with trips coming up). It seems the website is for sure lacking behind in terms of being updated.
