Morning, the FAQs for the Hilton status match challenge doesn’t really give much in the way of information regarding restrictions.

Are there any restrictions on the location of the property, type of Hilton property (for example, brands not participating), or the price of the room?

Or is it really just any Hilton room type/price/location?

No restrictions (as far as I am aware). I completed it with cheap one night stays (US and Spain).
The only slight pain imo is that you aren’t eligible if you are already gold. I opened a new account but still have a dormant gold account. I requalified via stays last year but won’t this year. I was wondering how many people do this challenge repeatedly with new email accounts…
