Hi all,
First time as a Gold Hilton member courtesy of Amex Platinum card. Stopping at London Bankside – I’ve had an e-mail to say i’ve been upgraded to a King Deluxe room free of charge. I understand there’s a free breakfast as well? Also when ‘food & drink credit’ is mentioned is this additional to breakfast or are they meaning breakfast? I’m only there overnight so if its F&B would this be for the first evening? Anything else I can expect (or not expect!)
Sorry to be a bit vague! I’m used to Travelodges!
Cheers
You should select breakfast in your Hilton profile.
Credit is for the US only, breakfast is not free there.
There’s an option called “My Way”. You’ll have to hunt for it on the app or the website in your profile.
You set the choice for each Hilton brand individually before check-in, as to whether you want points or breakfast (or drink/snack at properties that include breakfast such as Hampton Inns and Home2Suites).
Hilton have 20+ brands so you need to choose for each one seperately.
In the US and Canda the free continental breakfast at those brands where applicable is replaced by a F&B credit that you can use for anything related inc bar and mini-bar, not just breakfast but it’s a pitiful amount and varies by brand and city.
